 SS KS3

Key Stage 3

Ages 11-14

Key Stage 3 covers Years 7 to 9 (ages 11 to 14 ). At Key Stage 3 we offer a range of subjects as part of a broad and balanced curriculum leading to external assessment at the end of Year 9.

Throughout the Key Stage students are cared for and guided by Pastoral Leaders. We have a designated Head of Year 7 who is responsible for the welfare and progress of students in their first year of secondary education. In Year 8 and 9 students are guided and monitored by the Head of Key Stage 3.

Students are taught in Form Groups for most subjects but are placed in ability groups in Maths and take Greek at Main, Intermediate or Beginner level. All students also study French, Spanish, German or Russian as an additional foreign language.
